Robyn Tamblyn PhD - Potential Member of the Board of Directors

Dr. Robyn Tamblyn is a Professor in the Department of Medicine and the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McGill University. She is a James McGill Chair, a Medical Scientist at the McGill University Health Center Research Institute, and the Scientific Director of the Clinical and Health Informatics Research Group at McGill University. Dr Tamblyn's ground-breaking research on educational outcomes has elucidated important relationships between health professional training, licensure and practice that have subsequently guided credentialing policies. Dr Tamblyn has been involved from the inception of many of the software to the deployment.

David Buckeridge - Potential Member of the Board of Directors

Dr. David Buckeridge is an associate professor at McGill University. He specializes in conducting research on the informatics of public health surveillance. In particular, he is interested in the development and evaluation of methods for surveillance systems that use clinical and administrative data. Previous and ongoing work includes the development of statistical methods for outbreak detection and the use of simulation modeling to evaluate surveillance systems.
